Jenny Hernandez, APRN, FNP-C, is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in internal medicine and clinical research. She earned her medical degree in Cuba and specialized in Internal Medicine in 1998, providing years of comprehensive patient care before continuing her professional career in the United States.
Since obtaining her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification in the United States in 2023, Ms. Hernandez has played an integral role in the successful conduct of clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas.
Her research experience includes serving as both a Sub-Investigator and Clinical Research Coordinator, where she has been responsible for conducting physical examinations, supporting participant assessments, assisting Principal Investigators, coordinating study visits, and ensuring protocol compliance. She has also served as an unblinded study team member, managing investigational product accountability and drug dispensation according to study requirements.
In addition, Ms. Hernandez has gained valuable experience as a psychiatric study rater, supporting assessments in CNS and behavioral health clinical trials. Her combination of medical training, clinical expertise, and research experience allows her to contribute significantly to patient safety, data quality, and successful study execution.
