Principal Investigator – General Practice

Dr. Armando Villanueva is a board-certified physician with extensive clinical and research experience. He has been practicing medicine in the United States since 2019 and has over 6 years of clinical practice experience and 5 years of clinical research experience.

Before relocating to the United States in 2015, Dr. Villanueva practiced medicine in Cuba for more than 20 years, with extensive experience in bariatric surgery and patient care. After moving to the U.S., he successfully completed the required medical licensing process and continued his commitment to advancing patient care through clinical research.

As a Principal Investigator, Dr. Villanueva has successfully completed 8 clinical trials and has participated in 4 additional studies as a Sub-Investigator. His research experience includes obesity, hypertension, diabetes, family medicine, and general medical conditions.

Dr. Villanueva is dedicated to ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality data collection while helping bring innovative therapies to diverse patient populations in South Florida.
